We are currently testing our Revit plugin to import your Arkio creation into native Revit elements. This feature will require beta 0.6.4 and Revit 2019 and 2020, support for older versions of Revit will be added in the coming months.
If you have trouble running Revit after extracting the files, we recommend unpacking them with a program such as 7-zip.
To export your scene to a Revit plugin format you can use the Revit export button in the model carousel for your Arkio Scene.
This will create a new .arkiorvt file on the following location:
Quest\Internal shared storage\Arkio\Models
Once in Revit, you can import that file into the current Revit project by using the Arkio plugin found under Add-Ins (after installing the Revit plugin)
All Arkio shapes will be exported as solid generic models into the project using materials that were applied to them in Arkio. These optimized Revit shapes can be used as native geometry or as selectable reference to continue adding more detail to your designs in Revit.
Arkio props will be exported as Revit families with the corresponding position and rotation. The simple families of our object are compatible with Enscape and can be further customized once loaded into your projects.
